‘Don’t ever go through life wishing you’d done things differently, you’ll regret it!’ This piece of straight talking advice is exactly what prompted local business woman Lorraine McConnell to pursue her interest in fashion further and open what is now established as one of Ballyclare’s coolest outlets for the fashionista.

Joli Clothing opened its doors in October 2007 and instantly made its mark on local shoppers by providing a service that many used to travel far and wide to attain.  The coolest brands at the keenest of prices were all of a sudden on our doorsteps, turning Ballyclare into a hot bed of fashion-week potentials.

Catering for the fashion conscious male and female, Joli stocks only the finest and highest quality designer brands. French Connection, Sandwich, Noa Noa, Skunk Funk and Great Plains are an example of the finest brands for the ladies, while Lambretta, Wrangler, Quiksilver and Duck & Cover are some of the threads that are on the back of Ballyclare’s finest men.

When asked what her favourite part of the job is, Lorraine answered quite simply, “customer service”.

“Getting to know your customers and talking them through their options for their next big night out or function makes it much more than a job, and my passion is just to give them what they want.”
